Parents and Students Feedback
“Before I came to KCEE, I was not getting the marks I needed to be accepted into the university program I desired. Ever since I joined to KCEE, Mr. Chow has helped me improve on my learning skills in the areas of math. Thank you Mr. Chow! I am able to get into my first choice program for university and I have learned a lot during my time here.”
~ Isobel T., student from Langstaff Secondary School
(Isobel was a KCEE math student since Grade 11 who has received admission to Public Accounting Co-op at University of Waterloo)

Teaching and Learning Strategies
Throughout the course, we will follow a similar pattern of instructions in every class. Our experienced tutor will communicate with students and answer questions that they are struggling in school. Tutor will review the fundamental skills required and walkthrough the details to solve the problems. Our tutor will demonstrate relevant examples of the topic for students to visualize the application of the concept and theory. Then students will apply what they have learned. Supplementary exercises may be assigned depending on topics and they will be submitted electronically. The completed student works will be marked. Students will be encouraged to check and correct the mistakes.
Students will also be encouraged to ask questions and share their comments. Students will get instant feedback from the tutor. Constant feedback will be given to student in order to build their skills and effective work habits in working independently, organization, time management.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who develops and teaches this program?
KCEE has over 30 years of experience in private education. All lessons are designed and developed in-house by the owners, who have extensive experience teaching the Ontario curriculum. Our teachers are not only deeply knowledgeable, but also highly experienced in delivering real academic results. They specialize in identifying where students lose marks, strengthening fundamentals, and building the consistency needed for high performance. Through structured teaching and proven methods developed over decades, they have consistently helped students improve from failing levels to the 80s, and also elevate strong students from the mid-90s to 100.
How are students grouped in classes?
Students are placed in small groups based on grade level and proficiency, typically determined through a placement test. This ensures that students learn at a similar pace while still receiving individual guidance within the group. How is KCEE different from private tutoring?
KCEE’s Mathematics Enrichment Program is different from traditional reactive tutoring.Rather than focusing only on reviewing homework after difficulties arise, our programs are designed as structured pre-learning and academic acceleration. Students build a strong foundation, learn concepts ahead of school, and develop the skills needed to perform consistently at a high level.
This approach enables students not only to improve, but to sustain strong academic results over time.
Do you help with school homework and tests?
Yes. We support students with their current school topics and questions. At the same time, our focus is on strengthening understanding and preparing students ahead, so they can approach homework, quizzes, and tests with confidence and accuracy.
How soon can we expect to see improvement?
Improvement depends on the student’s starting point and consistency. Many students begin to see progress within a few weeks as they become more familiar with concepts and expectations. With continued attendance, students typically achieve more stable and measurable improvement over a full learning cycle.
Is this program suitable for students who are already doing well?
Yes. Many of our students already achieve strong academic results. Our program is designed to help these students refine their understanding, improve accuracy, and handle more advanced questions — often enabling them to move from the mid-90s to the highest level of performance.
Can I still join after the program has started?
Yes. Students are welcome to join ongoing classes. We will assess the student’s level and ensure appropriate placement so they can integrate smoothly into the program.
What if the class schedule does not work for me?
We will do our best to accommodate scheduling requests depending on availability. Please message or email us at enquiries@kcee.ca to discuss possible options. What if I miss a class due to illness or travel?
Make-up classes are required for any absences to ensure students stay on track. For absences, prior notification is required to arrange a make-up session. All make-up classes are scheduled by KCEE, and payments are non-transferable to future sessions.
Please message or email us at enquiries@kcee.ca for arrangement.
Does KCEE offer a free trial class?
KCEE does not offer trial classes. Our programs follow a structured curriculum where each lesson builds on the previous one. A single class would not reflect the overall learning experience or the results students achieve over time. We recommend enrolling in a cycle of at least 4 classes to properly experience the teaching style, pacing, and learning outcomes.
We are happy to provide a free placement test to ensure the class level and approach are suitable.
Does KCEE offer any discount such as loyalty, sibling or referral?
KCEE does not offer discounts. Our focus is on delivering consistent quality and results to all students. Maintaining a standard fee structure ensures fairness and consistency across all programs.
At KCEE, our focus is not only on helping students improve, but on building the skills, confidence, and consistency needed for long-term academic success.
